The National Minority Supplier Development Council, Inc.® (NMSDC®) launches new Vendor Management database of Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs).

NMSDC has unveiled the new online MBE database – developed with Early Morning Software, an NMSDC-certified minority business enterprise, using the PRISM product. The new database offers corporate members enhanced search capabilities, making it easier and faster to find the right MBEs. And for the first time, MBEs will have access to search for and contact other MBEs within the national network.

The PRISM system offers dynamic search capabilities for identifying and sourcing MBEs by location, industry, product and services, and certification classifications.

The PRISM system will include at least two modules: vendor management and online MBE certification. The web-based Vendor Management module replaces the MBISYS® database. It stores supplier information to a database for access by suppliers, contract managers and buyers.
The system will also bring real-time updates to the database with full integration of certification processing upon its launch in Summer 2014.

MBEs must sign the Terms of Use and complete webinar training introduction to receive log in credentials for access.

Detail regarding training are communicated by e-mail.
